Kiko Kostadinov's Zlatyu Shoe Blends ASICS GEL-KAYANO 14 Cushioning With Kitsch Styling

Available in “Hickory” or “Verdant” colorways.

Fresh off the back of his Milan Design Week presentation, Kiko Kostadinov returns to form with a new footwear offering, dubbed the Zlatyu Shoe.

Arriving in either “Hickory” or “Verdant” colorways, the hybrid sneaker blends Kostadinov’s kitsch references with sporty undertones. Notably, the pair is melded with the sole unit from the ASICS GEL-KAYANO 14, which underpins the divisive footwear design with contrasting-tone GEL cushioning.

Back up top, we find a leather upper decorated with embossed hexagonal grid patterning, delivering a honeycomb aesthetic. This is contrasted with a raised eyestay placket appliqué that sees textured rope laces — of which there are two sets — run through the eyelets.

Kiko Kostadinov’s Zlatyu Shoe retails for £495 or roughly $615 USD and is available to buy online now. Take a closer look at the pairs above.

In case you missed it, here’s an exclusive first look at the Y-3 Stan Smith.
