London's Hillside and Soldier Join Forces for Waterproof Camo Collaboration

Merging Hillside’s technical garment designs with Soldier’s quickly-rising camouflage prints.

Fashion

London-based streetwear label, Hillside, has connected with one of the UK capital’s most exciting artists and designers, Soldier, to present a new collaborative co-ord set — and it’s a combination of specialties as Hillside’s technically-focused garments are complemented by Solider’s vibrant camouflage prints.

Hillside — which was labeled as one of Hypebeast’s latest UK brands to watch — first made its mark on UK streetwear in 2020. As a whole, its garment drops remain relatively low-key, however, its if-you-know-you-know attitude has curated a loyal cult following that’s consistently wearing its styles with pride around the capital and beyond.

Furthermore, Soldier has also been keeping busy as of late. The Lagos-born, London-residing artist and designer is currently representing a new wave of multi-hyphenate peers throughout the UK. For Soldier, his message-driven camouflage artworks have continued to garner opinions and have solidified his space within London’s currently-bubbling art scene with impressive co-signs from the likes of Slawn and Skepta.

Now, Soldier and Hillside’s new “Soldier Militia” collaboration sees the duo create a new camouflage-covered co-ord. The design starts with a full-length zip jacket with a pull-over hood, while the overall base is covered in a combination of orange, purple, beige, and brown hues. Furthermore, the jacket is designed with a blacked-out zip along with a smaller storage pocket on the chest. Additionally, the corresponding trousers are also crafted with the same zippers and the customary co-branding can be spotted on the knee.

You can take a closer look at the new Hillside x Soldier collaboration above and be sure to keep an eye on the official Hillside Instagram page for further release details.
