Skepta to Launch House Music Record Label Más Tiempo
Working in collaboration with fellow Boy Better Know rapper, Jammer.
British rappers and producers Skepta and Jammer will officially launch their brand-new record label, Más Tiempo — which has a focus on house music — at a launch party at legendary London venue KOKO on April 30.
The Boy Better Know rappers will be launching their new label to give fellow house producers a platform to release new music on their own terms. And while Skepta also currently runs his Big Smoke Records, the North London rhymer has stated that his new venture with Jammer will continue to represent “trendsetters, who break the mold and do things differently.”
Más Tiempo — the Spanish translation of “more time” — will officially launch with a party at London’s KOKO and the event will also feature performances from Benji B and DJ Maximum. Additionally, the event is also part of KOKO’s first birthday celebrations after recently closing for renovations.
Skepta’s performance will be his first at KOKO since 2016 when the rapper celebrated the release of his Konnichiwa album and his return to the historic stage will be one of Skep’s most intimate shows in years, and his first in London since he headlined Wireless Festival in 2021. The performance will also come with the release of Skepta and Jammer’s new single, the first release from the duo’s upcoming EP, Mas Murder.
