Two British Icons Collide as Bowers & Wilkins' Px8 Headphones Receive a 007 Makeover
Celebrating the Diamond Anniversary of Bond, ‘James Bond.’
Bowers & Wilkins has just unveiled its latest pair of headphones — and they celebrate the Diamond Anniversary of James Bond.
Labeled the “Px8 007,” the headphones are designed to unite two icons of British style and performance. Crafted with high-performance wireless sound, they are also coated in “Midnight Blue” Napa leather, commemorating the dinner jacket worn by 007 himself during his first on-screen appearance in 1962.
In keeping with the James Bond franchise, it’s no secret that the protagonist himself was always performing at the forefront of technology, and the Px8 007 continues in the same form. Beyond the leather and metal detailing, the headphones also feature the classic 007 logos on the top of the ear cup — which is complemented by an exclusive red power slider.
Additionally, Bowers & Wilkins has included acoustically transparent material which is designed to protect the drive units in each ear cup. This feature boasts a screen print of the iconic Gun Barrel design which has been featured at the start of so many Bond movies, and to listen to your favorite songs on repeat, the Bowers & Wilkins music app allows you to stream songs directly to the Px8 007. The app also features suggested playlists, along with individual songs that are all supported by Qobuz, Tidal, and Deezer.
You can take a closer look at the Px8 007 above and the headphones are available to buy now on the official Bowers & Wilkins website.
