Sage Nation Shows the Importance of Detail For SS23
Merging intricate tailoring with a line of oversized silhouettes and technically-inclined pockets.
London-based brand Sage Nation has presented its new lookbook for Spring/Summer 2023 and it sees the brand merge everything, from intricate tailoring and oversized silhouettes to breathable shirts and cozy knitwear.
Since its inception, Sage Nation has been best known for releasing upcycled pieces from its archive — crafting carefully-tailored garments from breathable fabrics and heavy-set knitwear. Now, this latest collection from Sage Nation unveils a melange of free-flowing silhouettes, shirts, trousers, and outerwear — and all of it is designed to deal with Summer’s warmer conditions.
The collection starts with a line of wide-leg trousers; the style is designed with a breathable construction, with the airy legs being complemented by an elasticated waistband with an internal drawstring. The cotton trousers are also joined by a new collection of utility vests which are crafted with snap fastening, a slew of technical pockets and further elasticated drawstrings.
Pocket Parka Collar Shirts are included in the line to provide more formal looks, these come in a selection of different colorways, from royal blue to more summer-inclined yellow and beige. Further collection highlights also come in the form of a new knitted vest — made with breathable air holes — and it’s designed with thick knit tailoring around the neckline and cuffed waist.
